  • On behalf of our Client an established international consultancy, we are seeking a Professional Services Sourcing Specialist

Professional Services Sourcing Specialist (m/f/d)

Main tasks:
  • Consult and support Business Partners on all matters relating to the Sourcing of Professional Services. Development and execution of procurement strategies within a complex, high spend, and highly visible category
  • Implementation of tender initiatives and contract negotiation using e-sourcing tools
  • Establish and maintain a close relationship with internal and external Business Partners as well as vendors. 
  • Manage a fast-paced environment for multiple client accounts
  • Coordinate commercial, operational, and legal aspects with relevant experts in a cross-functional team
  • Collaboration on global procurement strategies and implementation of regional requirements
  • Provide key stakeholder support in the sourcing lifecycle - including driving sourcing, RFI, RFP, evaluation, drafting, contracting, on-boarding, negotiations, supplier management


Main qualifications
  • Experience in the end-to-end sourcing with a concentration in professional services (management consultants, financial consultants, big 4, IT consulting, onsite and offshore for time and material and fixed price engagements)
  • Experience in indirect procurement of Professional Services in an international (corporate) environment or in sales/ BD at a global Professional Services firm
  • In depth experience in review, negotiation, and execution of contracts with vendors. 
  • Understanding of how professional services contracts (incl. Master Service Agreements and Supply Orders) are scoped, structured, and cost controlled. Specific know-how in Sourcing of Consulting, Audit and Tax Services is preferred. 
  • Experience of stakeholder management and managing complex vendor/client relationships 
  • Ability to utilize procurement and financial data to understand spending trends and to leverage that information to identify procurement insights that result in process efficiencies or cost savings for the client
  • Proactive, flexible, and client-focused personality with excellent negotiation and communication skills. Broad negotiation toolkit and ability to function effectively in the face of volatility, uncertainty, complexity, and ambiguity
  • Expert knowledge of technologies/ processes/ tools as well as contractual and legal aspects of Professional Services contracts. 
  • Secure command of e-sourcing tools (SAP Ariba, Jaggaer, Archlet) of advantage
  • Fluency in German and English required
