Web Content Coordinator
Our client Tier1 IT System integrator are looking for experienced Web Content Coordinator to support their client project in Geneva.
Scope of Work:
The Consultant will report to the Technical Infrastructure, Maintenance and Support (TIMS) Manager and will operate independently with little supervision.
The major responsibilities of this position will include (but are not limited to):
Work with the SharePoint team to create the templates for the Bigfoot project.
Create, build, and update content for the new Bigfoot instance
Reach out to contributors for content and follow up on submissions
Managing the migration quality assurance process for Bigfoot publications
Ensuring that content and tags are compliant with GF best practices
Assisting all contributing teams with production of new content on Bigfoot
Vetting Bigfoot digital publications for GF style
Required Qualifications, experience and skills
Fluent English is essential. A working knowledge of French is desirable.
2+ years of experience developing, editing and managing Web pages and web content in a technical environment;
Ability to produce simplified text from technical teams and structure it in a Wiki format
Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to interact with IT Management
Strong analytical and problem solving abilities;
Excellent editing and proofreading skills
Strong academic credentials, with three-plus years' experience with web production and editing in a deadline-driven environment
Familiarity with SharePoint or other Web editing tools
Superior organizational skills and attention to detail
A flexible, positive, team-oriented attitude
Background or interest in international relations preferred The Content Coordinator will liaise with all contributors and coordinate submissions to the site.
He/She will ensure the overall quality and scope of the project according to business requirements within the limits imposed by IT Operations, IT Infrastructure and other digital communication teams.
