Valuation Risk Controller vacancy for a globally operating Zurich based company in the financial sector.Your experience/skills:
- 5+ years of practice with financial modelling, valuation technique and product knowledge, ideally with a banking background
- 1+ years of experience in project management
- Know-how of R or Python is an asset
- Experience with Independent Price Verification, FRM or CFA is desirable
- Degree in Financial Mathematics or an equivalent field such as Finance, Physics, Economics or Econometrics
- Languages: English, fluent in written and spoken, German is a plus
Your tasks:
- Providing insight into valuation practice of a wide range of product classes including FX, Rates, Equities, Commodities as well as Credit
- Contributing to an internal balance sheet project by enhancing front-to-back infrastructure and the independent price verification process
- Participating in the price verification process including price testing of the GTS and Treasury fail value inventory
- Supporting valuation aspects of important complex tools and strategic systems development as well as implementation
- Collaborating closely with Group Finance, Trading, Finance Change, Quant Strats and Risk Management
