Role: Test Manager - Automotive HMILocation: Wolfsburg, Germany - Hybrid
Looking for German Speakers**
Overview of the Project:
HMI Testing*:
Completing, developing, and coordinating tests and strategies for Interface Identifier and Head-Up Display across the Volkswagen, Skoda, and Seat Platforms. This involves managing test infrastructure, assembling test benches, and repairing them as needed. Additionally, creating reports on the status of vehicles, hardware, and quality is essential. As well as maintaining a ticket system to ensure smooth coordination and issue resolution throughout the process.
Job requirements: Good understanding of Automotive HMI domain. Excellent understanding of Testing methodology & automation. Ability to guide a team.
Tasks:
• Create test strategy and planning, assuming accountability for the process.
• Determine the most suitable methods, techniques, and tools to ensure efficient test execution.
• Analyze and implement test automation solutions as necessary.
• As a test manager (m/f/d), recognize and address potential risks and issues throughout test phases, devising mitigation plans.
• Responsible for communicating test results to management, customers, and stakeholders.
Required Qualifications:
• Proficient experience in testing infotainment systems.
• Familiarity with test methodologies and tools such as JIRA, along with expertise in test automation and software development.
• Strong technical acumen to comprehend intricate software applications and formulate efficient test strategies.
• Demonstrated leadership and management capabilities to lead and coordinate test teams effectively.
• Excellent communication skills enabling clear and comprehensive communication of test results.
• Desirable: Certification in further training such as ISTQB (certified tester).
• Proficiency in MS Office applications, particularly Excel and PowerPoint
• Project language is English. Knowledge of German helpful.
