For a longer term project at our client, an international bank in Zurich, we are looking for an experienced
Test Engineer - REPO & Collateral Trading Applications (3762)
The Test Engineer is assigned to design, plan, execute and report for the Quality Management. You will be working in the IT team responsible for Securities Lending and Borrowing, Repo and Collateral Trading applications.
Your qualifications:
- Degree in IT or similar that would have an equal level
- Degree in Testing methods Quality Management
- 3+ years experience in similar roles as test engineer
- Banking knowledge preferably in the Trading area is of advantage
- Experience in functional & non-functional testing
- ALM for testing
- JIRA to assign tasks and control progress
- Strong communications and customer orientation skills
Your Responsibilities:
- Plan and manage User Acceptance Testing (UAT) with end users
- Coordinate testing efforts with up and downstream systems
- Help manage QA testing effort with offshore resources (in Poland)
- Review defects arising from UAT and raise JIRA tickets for development to resolve
- Track and provide clear project testing status communication to all stakeholders
- Devise UAT test plans and test cases
- Document test evidence and user sign-off
- Perform manual testing of applications
- Ensure quality of test data and prepare test data in upstream applications (Swiss Host)
