Technical Business Analyst | BA, Software Projects, CI | Zurich | 6 months
Square One are currently looking for a Technical Business Analyst for a 6 month initial contract based in Zurich.
Required Skills & Experience:
- strong experience in building enterprise-ready applications in a global environment
- experience applying business analysis techniques preferable in infrastructure projects
- the ability to interpret a set of technical requirements (you know what they really want)
- an understanding of the software development life cycle along with strong analytical, problem-solving and synthesizing skills
- a proven track record in delivery of software projects to demanding product owners
- ability to interact with business stakeholders to understand their requirements
- working knowledge of project/development life cycles (SDLC)
- consistent and well-structured approach to documentation of business, functional and non-functional requirements
- some technical skills (eg) around any of our strategic technologies
- JIRA
- SQL (MSSQL/databases in general)
- Datamodelling
- experience in BI client tools and reporting solutions
- Data Analysis background
- experience of working in an global IT organization in financial services is a plus
- capable to generate reports appropriated to the audiences
- fluent with the standard tools for Business Analysis, Project tracking, presenting and reporting
- working knowledge of application development life cycles (SDLC, Waterfall and Agile)
- general idea about Continuous Integration and Deployment, especially for the Opera related tool chain
- SVN and GitHub
- Jenkins and TeamCity
- Nexus Pro and Artifactory
- developer or engineer background with exposure to the Continuous Integration pipeline is preferred
- the go-to person to analyze software requirements and propose realistic solutions in hand with available capabilities
- fluent in English and/or German
