SOC Analyst vacancy for a globally operating Basel based company in the financial sector.Your tasks:
- Performing SOC Tier1/2 analysis as well as processing alerts
- Prioritizing cases and incidents within the Cyber Security Operations team
- Working on incident cases while also running investigations and analysis
- Using a ticketing tool to manage the security alerts
Your experience/knowledge:
- 3+ years of experience in security operations or support on level 1 and 2
- Proficiency in case and alerts investigation
- Excellent knowledge of network protocols like http, dns, LDAP, and FTP
- Expertise in networking, especially Firewalls, NGFW, IPS/IDS and packet captures
- A thorough understanding of Log analysis and Digital Forensics
- Well-versed with SIEM technology, preferably IBM QRadar and Azure Sentinel
- Language skills: English - fluent in written and spoken, German conversational
