Site Reliability Engineer for our Basel based client in the financial sector.Your tasks:
- Designing and implementing reliable, scalable systems, tools, and processes
- Working closely with teams to identify and address performance bottlenecks, security vulnerabilities, and enhance system reliability
- Establishing and maintaining systems for monitoring, logging, and alerting to ensure visibility into system health and performance
- Automating infrastructure deployment using tools like Ansible and Kubernetes
- Developing comprehensive disaster recovery plans and backup systems to ensure data availability and integrity
- Conducting performance testing, engaging in capacity planning, and activating scale systems effectively based on business demands
Your experience/knowledge:
- 3+ years of experience as a Site Reliability Engineer or a similar role
- Experience with monitoring and alerting tools like Elastic Stack, Splunk, Dynatrace and AWS Cloudwatch
- Strong knowledge of supporting applications running on Windows Servers
- Strong scripting skills in languages such as Python, Bash, or Ruby
- Good knowledge of Windows systems administration, networking, security, and Microsoft SQL Server
- University degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field or equivalent experience

- Excellent analytical skills, good problem solving and root cause analysis approach
- Ability to take the initiative and organize own work, coupled with flexibility, service orientation, and ability to perform under pressure against tight deadlines
