For a financial company in the greater Zurich area we are looking for aService & Delivery Manager (1377)
Responsibilities:
Within the client’s infrastructure set up you are one of the main focal points for service deliveries and small project work. You act as the trusted advisor ensuring that all possible internal IT Standards are met and that internal stakeholders receive impeccable service. You provide customer guidance through all processes involved with the delivery. You ensure that all legal and regulatory steps are covered.
Work scope:
Support your manager with estimates on infrastructure requirements
Keep up to date with internal IT Standards in order to support the strategies in place
Act as to various departments providing guidance on internal IT Standards
Assist the customer with IT Infrastructure design that meets their requirements while at the same time defined standards
Guide the customer through the procedures and process's.
Ensure delivery of the IT Infrastructure on time and within budget
Provide up to date reporting
Be actively involved in Project Management work and handle projects independently
Required Skills:
Solid knowledge of UNIX and Windows infrastructure including virtual environments
Knowledge of Sybase is a big plus
Solid Knowledge of network and security set ups is desirable
IT Project management experience - at least 3 years
Excellent interpersonal skills
Self-motivated with proven ability of working in team environments
Very good German and English skills, any other language is a plus
This position is offered on a long tern contract and is situated in the geater Zurich area.
