For our Client form the insurance area, we are looking for a
Senior QA specialist
Duration 6 months (with possible extension)
Location Zurich
Job description
- As a member of the team you will play an important role in ensuring the quality of software projects.
- You will analyze the projects, give consideration to specifications/requirements, and define appropriate tests.
- The role will require you to create test scripts, conduct the tests and communicate the results to the team.
- You will be required to work closely with the developers.
Responsibilities
- Formulation and implementation of software testing strategies
- Coordinating with development team to create and execute appropriate test plans
- Preparation and review of test reports
Requirements
- Substantial applicable IT experience, with extensive testing experience using manual or automation testing tools (USTS and Team Foundation tools if possible)
- Advanced knowledge of software testing theories and practices
- Proficiency in written and spoken English
- Strong communication and collaboration skills
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Desirable Experience
- Automation Scripting skills
- Experience with agile practices
- Knowledge of SQL
