Senior OpenShift Engineer vacancy for our Basel based client in the financial sector.Your tasks:
- Implementing and maintaining container-based workload orchestration technology, integrating it into a Hybrid cloud environment
- Integrating robust security controls, container scanning, and operational monitoring into the platform
- Strategizing and executing plans for cluster availability and proficiently manage software lifecycles
- Enabling automation for contemporary compute workloads and embed DevOps principles for technology modernization and operational efficiency
- Ensuring adherence to security standards, corporate policies, release or change management, and compliance protocols
- Incorporating resilience practices to fortify solutions, ensuring sustainability during challenging circumstances
Your experience/knowledge:
- 5+ years of experience with SME in OpenShift and container technology
- Expertise with code management solutions, in particular GIT and CI/CD tools
- Strong background in Ceph Storage
- Consistent track record in provision of third-level support and design input in an enterprise environment
- Experience with Red Hat Enterprise Linux systems administration, Systems monitoring, Logging with Grafana Loki or ITIL fundamentals is advantageous
- Language skills: English - fluent in written and spoken
