Our client is looking for Mainframe Developer at Zurich, Swiss for 3-6 months contract.
Position: Mainframe Senior Developer
Location: Zurich, Switzerland
Experience: 5 to 8 years
Skills:
Primary Skill: Cobol, CICS, DB2, IMS, VSAM
Secondary Skill: DL2, MQ Series
The ideal candidate should possess:
- Must have at least 5 years of extensive experience in Mainframe preferably in Cobol, CICS, DB2,IMS, VSAM
- Experience in DL2 is preferred
- Knowledge in MQ Series is appreciated
- Should possess strong experience in application development and maintenance, preferably in Banking Domain
- Should have proven track record of managing tasks and customer requirement
- Should able to coordinate between offshore team and customer expectations
- Experience various Development & Configuration tools like Integra, SVN
- Should have knowledge of SDLC and Agile methodology
- Need to have good analytical skills and communication skills
- Should have proficiency in Production support - ASM related.
- Should have good proficiency in local language support.
- Willing to work on flexible timings (24/7. Extended hours and late night).
