Senior Java Developer - Java8 / Spring Boot (5614)

In this role you should be capable to pick up all tasks related to the entire lifecycle of product development, i.e. contact with stakeholders, gathering requirements and analysis, design of architecture, implementation, design and write different types of tests, packaging, deployment, support and maintenance software in production; know and understand Agile methodology and its tools.

Your Qualifications:
• 5+ years’ working experience with Java 8+ and Spring Boot
• Deep understanding of Java technology fundamentals and design patterns used in real-time transaction processing systems
• High level of experience with low latency platform (developing low latency, high availability multithreaded code)
• Sound knowledge of highly available transaction processing systems and with service discovery engines (Consul, Spring Cloud or custom solutions)
• Expertise in Enterprise Integration Patterns (Spring integration or Apache Camel) and a good understanding in Behaviour Driven Development (JBehave or Cucumber)
• Knowledge with Build and Test Tools (Jenkins, Maven/Gradle, JUnit, Mockito, GIT/Subversion) and with DevOps tools (Docker, Kubernetes)
• Trading background would be a plus
• Fluent in English, German is an advantage

Your Responsibilities:
• Development of new applications in the area of order and trade management applications
• Automated build, packaging and deployment process for production deployments
• Research and development of a new cross-asset platform based on our strategic execution and trade management system
• Additionally: Work closely with stakeholders on the analysis, design, and development of new features
• Writing applications responsible for Order and Trade Management
• Working with other team members on the requirements, preparing the releases and delivering the applications to production
• Continuous integration testing and related documentation updates
• Actively participate in the design and technology review of the applications written in the team
• Provide support for the existing systems where required
