Introduction:
The main purpose of this role is to support the functional design, perform the detailed technical design and support SAP developments in the CRM area.
Role:
The Technical Architect is the cornerstone between function and technical stakeholders involved in the activities related to SAP developments in the CRM area.
He/She liaises with Solution Architects and functional owners to understand the requirements and prepare the technical design. Once the technical design is completed, he/she liaises with the developers and ensures developments are performed as per the client's standards and guidelines.
He/She also liaises with the Quality Assurance department to manage findings discovered during the code QA process.
. Get directions from the Stream Solution architect and liaise with him/her in order to perform detailed technical design for SAP developments
. Support the elaboration of functional specifications by providing answers to technical questions raised by Functional Owners
. Review and validate functional specifications provided by the Functional Owners
. Is responsible to deliver the technical specifications providing detailed instructions for developers to code
. Provide development workload estimates based on the complexity and nature of developments to be performed
. Provide coaching and knowledge transfer to developers
. When findings are discovered during the code QA review, ensures to liaise with developers and close these findings
. Perform a sanity testing when receiving a development before transmitting for Functional Unit testing
. Could exceptionally perform development as needed
. Support promote to production activities

Knowledge and Professional skills:
. Strong SAP CRM-CRC architecture skills
. Minimum 5 years of experience as ABAP developer
. Good functional knowledge of the CRC processes and their implementation in SAP
. Knowledge of SAP CRM Interaction Center, SAP CRM WEB UI, SAP CRM Service, Sales and Marketing (Develop and execute targeted, installed-base marketing campaigns)
. Involvement in large scale SAP projects with developments performed offshore
. SCRUM is a plus
. Strong interpersonal skills
. Strong problem solving skills
. Ability to work under pressure
. Coaching/training/coordination capabilities
Language skills :
. Fluent in English (writing and speaking)
