Your ability to coordinate and support multiple field install teams will contribute directly to the success of our client as they develop, construct, and deploy their Satellite Access Node Nodes (SAN). As the SAN Deployment PM, you will be responsible for coordinating all facets of SAN deployment from equipment installation to site testing.
As the SAN Deployment PM, you will be responsible for helping our team deploy the latest satellite communications network. Career responsibilities will include:
- Supporting and coordinating site walks with A&E firms, utility companies, and subcontractors
- Supporting and coordinating site equipment installation and test teams
- Reviewing key deliverables and providing status to management
- Coordinating site punch walks and any follow up actions to delivery high quality sites
- Supporting both internal and external teams with status updates and coordination of upcoming tasks
- Positioning ViaSat for continued innovation and growth in satellite communications
Requirements
- 3 to 6 years in a similar deployment role
- Experienced with telecom construction
- Proficient in the assembly of mechanical structures
- Experience in tracking progress, documentation and updates of project status.
- Effective communication skills with all levels of management.
- Ability to coordinate multiple activities and teams
- This job will require approximately 40% travel
Preferences
- 10+ years progressive experience in similar positions.
- BS in Engineering or other technical field
- Candidate is located close to the office, but their location is flexible
