For our banking client in Zurich, we are looking for a
Risk Analyst - ERC, data analysis, reporting
Start: ASAP
Location: Zurich
Duration: initial contract until 31.07.2017 - extension possible
This project will be about the coordination of the formulation of the risk appetite statement and the delivery of the scenario/stress analysis for a Swiss bank. This team is to play a key role in encompasses maintaining an adequate risk governance processes, defining the risk appetite, analysing specific stress scenarios, and evaluating capital adequacy while ensuring consistency of the risk framework and stress testing with both global framework and local requirements. This involves close collaboration with central ERM, global risk functions and Front Office.
To be successful in this project, the following skills are needed:
- Multiple years of working experience within Financial industry, ie banking or insurance industry.
- Experience in quantitative risk management and/or related implementation projects, preferably w/r to ERC concept/framework
- Deep understanding of financial risk management processes and risk management frameworks
- Strong analytical thinking to pick up dependencies and requirements quickly and analyze implications.
- Strong team player with ability to work across different areas and engage key stakeholders.
- Very good MS Office skills - reporting, data analysis,...
- Fluent communicator in English; German speaking and writing is a plus
