Real Estate Financing Specialist
On behalf of our client, a leading bank in Zürich, we are looking for an International Real Estate Financing Specialist. For this contract position based in Zurich in Switzerland our client is looking for an English speaking candidate who can start as soon as possible. Overview:
- The department is called Real Estate International who runs property funds which invest in Europe and globally.
- Currently the client is working on acquiring and selling properties for funds.
- The challenge lies in the structuring and financing of the deals and for that they are seeking for a Financing specialist with International Real Estate expertise.
Responsibilities:
- Responsibility for their party financing on specific deals
- Structuring, evaluating, negotiating and concluding mortgage financing solutions in a very tight time frame
- Refinancing of existing properties
- Reporting the real estate credit portfolio all while enhancing this reporting process
- Manage and monitor the international credit exposures (incl. contact with international banks)
- Negotiating and drawing up loan and security documents with external lawyers
Skills:
- University degree in law, business, economics or finance
- Over than 5 years of experience in international real estate financing
- Knowledge in negotiating and concluding Finance and Security Documents (eg LMA Facility Agreement) for different types of Borrowers in different jurisdictions
- Solid understanding of English Facility Agreement (LMA) with the ability to negotiate agreements
- Ability to deal and manage external parties, such as lender, lawyers, Property Manager, tax consultants and in an internal Matrix organization
- Existing multinational network
- Fluent in English
Desired skills:
- Experience in similar role for US or UK market
