On behalf of our client, a prestigious international Telecommunications company, Manning Global Group is currently looking for a number of Radio Network Planning and/or Optimization Consultants (2G/3G/LTE) to start ASAP in a challenging contract based in Switzerland.

Responsibilities:

• Realization of network planning and/or optimization projects for GSM/WCDMA and/or LTE networks.
• Improvement of radio network performance by appropriate approach.
• Development of NP&NO guidelines and process for projects purposes
• Network performance statistic data analysis, drive test data analysis, signal tracing data analysis and troubleshooting to improve network performance.
• RF parameters analysis, changing proposal and implementation operation to improve the radio network performance.
• Technical communication and clarification (e.g. RF parameter workshop) with customers and subcontractors.
• Technical support to pre-sales project on RNP&O issues and communication with customers.
• Take charge of the RF planning and/or optimization including link budget, simulation, and radio parameters design for GSM/WCDMA and/or LTE networks.

Qualification:

• M.Sc. degree or above in Telecommunication, Electronic or equivalent
• Familiarity with 3GPP and/or LTE protocol and specification
• At least 7 years experience in RF planning and/or optimization
• Expert in WCDMA and/or LTE technology and UTRAN and/or eRAN products, including radio system design and system management, radio resource management, radio optimization and performance tuning. Be familiar with the tools network planning (Atoll is preferred) and optimization.
• Familiarity with optimization activities in a GSM/UMTS Swap project (KPI mapping, radio parameters mapping, KPI improvement.)
• Knowledge of BSS/UTRAN is desirable.
• Familiarity with the local regulation for protection of the general population from non-ionizing radiation and with “NIS” application process.
• Familiarity with drive tests and post processing tools for optimization (e.g. TEMS, NEMO, ACTIX and Rhode & Schwarz).
• Excellent team spirit with good communications and interpersonal skills. Ability to cooperate and work with people from different cultures.
• Willing to travel with short noticed. Willing to work over time
• Fluency in oral and written English. German knowledge would be an asset.
