For our client in Zurich, Swiss Bank, we are looking for a Project Manager (with FIDLEG or MiFID) for a 9 months project (extension possible)
Overview of business area or project:
FIDLEG program is a top initiative within SUB (Swiss Universal Bank) and IWM (International Wealth Management) aiming at implementing the FIDLEG regulation into the Bank's strategy and processes. The required resource will support a key project within FIDLEG Program related to the implementation of the requirements mostly visible for SUB and IWM Front organizations (eg KID/BIB distribution, client classification, EAM) and on ad hoc basis, will support FIDLEG program lead on various management presentation and other tasks.
Key Responsibilities
The candidate will be responsible for various tasks related to project management role, such as the preparation of presentations to senior management (PowerPoint), business analysis, definition of solution, IT testing, etc.
Overview of the department/team (team size, backgrounds, personalities ):
FIDLEG Program is included in the SUB/IWM Regulatory Change team specialized in the implementation of Investor Protection regulations. Around 10 projects currently report directly or indirectly to the FIDLEG SUB/IWM program. High attention is given on the program throughout the Bank due to the sensitivity and the impact of this regulation going live on January 1st 2022.
Challenges Contractor will be facing in this role:
Challenge comes from the fact that, on top of the regulatory requirements that are on their own complex to implement, the program is running for already 4 years and the required resource will be asked to get up to speed on rather complex topics & background decisions quickly.
Essentials Skills and Qualifications:
- Powerpoint presentation/visualization of complex topics
- Communication skills (to various stakeholders from senior management, Front Organization, IT or other project managers)
- Business proficiency in English
Desired Skills and Qualifications:
- Experience or knowledge on FIDLEG and/or MiFID is a plus
- Business proficiency in German is a plus.
