For our client, a leading biotech organization, in antibacterial medical solutions, we are currently looking for a Product Manager to join the expanding team. Directly reporting into the COO, you will be responsible for partnerships related to Advanced wound care solutions product development, sales and marketing as well as overseeing the transition from R&D to production to launch and manage the strategies to bring the innovative new products to market: Market Access-Competitive Intelligence

Key responsibilities:
  • Collaborate with stakeholders across multiple locations to take charge of the late stages of product management, acquiring comprehensive insights into customer needs, market trends, and competitor activities, particularly in the realm of Advanced Wound Dressing.
  • Perform thorough business analyses to uncover new product opportunities.
  • Drive the product lifecycle, emphasizing continuous improvement, maintenance, and smooth phase-in/phase-out post product commercialization.
  • Utilize market insights to formulate strategies addressing critical business considerations related to reimbursement, regulatory compliance, and product claims.
  • Deliver competitive system solutions while balancing cost, features, and serviceability.
  • Strategize Go-to-Market plans for regional and global launches of individual product lines and portfolios, identifying suitable sales and distribution channels.
  • Develop a robust product roadmap aligning with financial objectives, market dynamics, technological advancements, and regulatory mandates.
  • Strategically allocate portfolio and R&D investments in accordance with global objectives.
  • Ensure alignment with short- and long-term business objectives through effective communication of user needs, business targets, and design principles.
  • Guide engineering activities to ensure timely delivery of successful products to the market.
  • Establish and oversee cost and margin targets for product lines and accessories, devising sales strategies for new product introductions including pricing.
  • Work closely with Management, project teams, and external marketing counterparts to ensure seamless product launches.
  • Cultivate and nurture essential business relationships with key stakeholders and development partners (e.g., CDMOs, Distributors), fostering open dialogue, clear objectives, and streamlined decision-making processes.


Profile/ Experience:
  • Technical, medical, or life science university degree or higher education.
  • Minimum of 5+ years of experience as a Product Lead in medical device development.
  • Advanced proficiency in orchestrating product launches at regional and global levels.
  • Preferred familiarity with medical device regulations such as MDR, 510k submissions, and adherence to ISO 13485 design control processes.
  • Experience and expertise in medical device markets, particularly in wound management and antimicrobial medical devices.
  • Demonstrated acumen in business strategy and decision-making to ensure the success of your portfolio and overall business objectives.
  • Strong motivation to excel in an intercultural global environment.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills to effectively engage with team members at all organizational levels and contribute effectively as part of a geographically dispersed team.
  • Fluent in business English.
  • Solid comprehension of biotech partnerships and deal structures.
  • Previous leadership experience.
  • Proven track record of presenting to senior-level leaders and key stakeholders.
  • Proficient in articulating business cases and driving timely, strategic decisions across intricate internal and external organizations.
  • Ability to thrive in a challenging environment with a high degree of agility.
  • Highly effective influencing skills, particularly in challenging, ambiguous, or evolving situations.
