Packaging Engineer - Plastic bottle - vacancy for our Münchwilen based client in the agricultural sector.Your tasks:
- Designing, developing, and testing package components and packaging systems for regulatory compliance
- Providing maintenance and troubleshooting support to adjacent supply chain functions
- Identifying and implementing innovative and sustainable packaging solutions
- Providing active independent support to New Product Introduction (NPI) teams ensuring all packaging related milestones are completed on time
- Ensuring packaging testing and qualification projects meet scientific integrity standards
- Maintaining data systems and structures
- Creating and reviewing packaging specifications and assembly instructions
Your experience/knowledge:
- Experience as a Packaging Engineer
- High-level knowledge and understanding of the agricultural sector and its regulations
- Capability to identify and create awareness of cost savings and efficiency opportunities
- Ability to lead packaging projects related to maintenance or troubleshooting support to adjacent supply chain functions, as well as to end-users in the marketplace
- University degree in Industrial Engineer, Materials Engineering, Mechanical Engineering
- Language skills: English - fluent in written and spoken
