Masentó are working with an industry leading client based in Switzerland who are embarking on an MES implementation project and require an experienced MES Consultant to help drive the successful implementation.
This would be a 12 month contract starting ASAP with a view to go on for 2-3 years.
The ideal candidate will have hands on implementation experience with Syncade and have worked in the Pharmaceutical/Biotech industry previously. More details below.
Role & Experience:
- Contribute to, and potentially lead, implementation of MES solutions utilizing the Emerson Syncade Operations Management Suite
- Business acumen in a technical environment
- Software skills in software analysis, design, methodology, and architecture
- Strong exposure to MES technologies, including automated data collection, historian applications (OSI PI a plus), visualization, quality and efficiency in manufacturing, SCADA, automated decision control, workflow, database applications, scheduling, and interface to ERP systems
- Exposure to enterprise level large-scale applications
- Preferred Pharma/Biotech industry experience
- Understanding of business and manufacturing logistics
- Experience with SQL databases
Requirements:
- Bachelors Eng./Comp Science or minimum 5 years' industry experience in software development, programming, or engineering discipline
- Minimum 4 years' experience in industrial software services functions
- Minimum 4 years' experience designing or implementing MES applications (Manufacturing Execution Systems) Experience with one or more of the following systems a plus - Werum, Syncade, Invensys, POMSnet, Camstar, Elan designing or implementing MES applications
- English is mandatory. French is a big plus
