Materials & Process Engineer (m/f/d)

Main tasks:
- Qualification of surface treatments of metal alloys
- Qualification of manufacturing processes
- Technical qualification projects, from product selection to final implementation, in collaboration with the Certification and Project Management BUs
- Creation of Qualification Test Plan and Report
- Creation and revision of RUAG Process Specifications
- Participating in process audits, in the field of his expertise, as technical auditor
Main qualifications
- University degree in Chemical Engineering / Materials Engineering / Materials Science
- Fluent in English and German (written and spoken)
- Well-founded in materials and process engineering
- Experience with surface treatments on metallic alloys, and associated manufacturing
- Processes (preferably in aviation industry) and proven experience in developing test plans for the qualification of manufacturing processes
- Experience in leading material testing campaigns and familiar with test standards
- Good understanding of corrosion and corrosion prevention methodologies
- Familiar with collecting, organizing, synthesizing and analyzing data. Develop conclusions and provide recommendations
