We are seeking a skilled Warehouse Logistics Specialist to join our team in Visp for a duration of 8 months. As a Warehouse Logistics Specialist, you will play a pivotal role in managing the logistics operations, from material deliveries and incoming goods inspection to storage and shipment preparation. This position requires a hands-on approach, as you will be responsible for both manual and automated warehouse tasks.
Responsibilities:
* Control material deliveries for quality and quantity assurance.
* Post goods receipt entries in SAP system.
* Handle physical storage and retrieval of goods in both automated and manual warehouses.
* Execute picking, labelling, and preparing items for shipment.
* Archive all necessary documents for complete traceability.
* Operate automatic storage machines and manage complex conveyor technology.
* Act as a competent point of contact for internal customers.
Requirements:
* Proficiency in German is required. Knowledge of English is advantageous.
* Prior experience in warehouse operations, preferably in a similar role.
* Familiarity with SAP or other inventory management systems.
* Ability to operate automated storage machinery and conveyor systems.
* Strong attention to detail and organisational skills.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
