Laboratory Consultant - Biochemistry - Cell Culture vacancy for our Neuchatel based client in the pharmaceutical sector.Your tasks:
- Executing lab studies on flask scale, 5L, and 120L bioreactors, and monitoring various cell culture processes using different measuring instruments such as cell density, viability, and pH
- Performing small-scale purification processes including chromatography, ultrafiltration, and column packing operations using different resins ranging from 0.5 to 10cm diameter
- Collecting, summarizing, and analyzing data to prepare comprehensive reports and presentations
- Supporting experimental study design and protocol writing, while also developing and optimizing process parameters
- Executing protocols according to r project lead requirements, encompassing development, investigation, and process qualification
- Controlling laboratory equipment under responsibility, ensuring their maintenance, and independently resolving encountered operating problems
Your experience/knowledge:
- 2+ years of experience in the pharmaceutical industry, ideally in process development
- Proficiency in recombinant protein purification techniques such as chromatography and ultrafiltration, with practical experience in recombinant protein cell culture utilizing CHO cells
- Familiarity with analytical methods like ELISA, SDS, and HPLC, coupled with proficiency in the Windows environment, including Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
- Background in statistics is advantageous
- Higher university degree in biochemistry, biology, biotechnology or equivalent
- Language skills: English and French - fluent in written and spoken
