Knowledge Engineer IT vacancy requiring profound Data Science knowledge for a globally operating Basel based company in the pharmaceutical sector.Your tasks:
- Collaborating with product teams to integrate data models into the company's product portfolio, emphasizing FAIR Findable, Accessible, Interoperable, Reusable data services
- Liaising with engineering and business teams to implement device interoperability standards following FAIR principles
- Exploring new methods to extract business insights from interconnected lab and clinical data for potential RIS digital product enhancements
- Leading the integration of standards like FHIR, HL7v2, LOINC, and SNOMED into RIS digital products
- Driving data and software service automation to ensure continuous delivery through repositories and quality assurance
Your experience/knowledge:
- 3+ years of demonstrated experience in data interoperability roles
- Strong software engineering skills with Python, Java, familiarity with Typescript, Angular is a plus
- Background in data interoperability technologies such as FHIR, HL7v2, SNOMED, or LOINC
- Proficient in meta data management involving relational and graph databases
- University Degree in Computer Science or Engineering related fields; PhD in Software Engineering, Data Science, Bioinformatics, or similar disciplines preferred
- Language skills: English - fluent in written and spoken
