For our client, a global banking company in Zürich, we are looking for System Engineer for a 12-month contract
Overview
Implementation of a tool used to transfer Interest Rates Swap (IRS) risks outside the bank and to reduce IRS P&L impact.
The tool is implemented in Java and it is a central tool for Treasury Business, Treasury Product Control and as well for Finance Accounting to report P&L to senior Management.
The tool is the central component of the liquidity reporting framework enabling the following key functions:
. Harmonized data ensuring consistency and convergence for global regulatory and MI liquidity reporting
. Alignment to Books and Records and understanding of data quality through validation and exception management
. Centralized controls enabling reduced operational risk
Key Responsibilities
. Off-Shore coordination
. Integration of implemented Work-Packages into application
. 3rd level Support for several applications
. Implementation of the application components using Java SE and Java EE
. Support Analysis and Design of the application architecture and its components
. Ensure expected code quality
. Participation in integration and user acceptance testing
. Ensure that common standards, processes and tools are adopted across all deliverables
. Ensure the creation of adequate documentation
. High dedication to quality of his/her deliverables
Essentials Skills and Qualifications:
. +7 years of Java experience
. + 7 years of Oracle 10/11g experience
. + 7 years of SQL experience
. Expert VBA Macro and Excel experience is a must
. Off Shore Coordination is a must
. Java development with Eclipse under Windows for a Unix target system
. JSF, EJB, Spring-Batch and exposure to MQ and Web services
. SVN experience
. Knowledge and effective use of Maven and Ant
. Bachelor/Master Degree, equal education or qualifying experience in Information Technology
. Expert in Software Engineering and Software Design
. Expert communication skills
. Leadership and People Management skills is a must
