IT Vendor Manager - Contingent Workforce vacancy for a globally operating Basel based company in the financial sector.Your tasks:
- Executing technology vendor management practice, optimizing spend, compliance, and risk
- Developing and implementing an efficient technical contingent labor supplier program
- Establishing governance processes for commitment review, change controls and termination
- Fostering strong relationships with strategic providers and resolve issues promptly
- Supporting the Business Areas in procurement activities and negotiation processes
- Identifying opportunities for portfolio simplification, cost reduction, and service improvement
Your experience/knowledge:
- Strong expertise in global technology vendor management, encompassing complex transactions at scale, specifically in central banks or financial institutions
- Deep understanding of the technical staffing industry and contract law
- Experience in coordinating interdisciplinary working groups, ideally in an international environment
- Excellent negotiation skills and experience managing contracts throughout their lifecycle
- Language skills: English - fluent in written and spoken
