IT Desktop Support Analyst

The Basel User Services team is searching for an IT Desktop Support Analyst to start as soon as possible. The team is looking for somebody who will install hardware, perform trainings and support the customers face to face in the IT Welcome Zone.
The perfect candidate has a proven background in a relevant customer-facing role in a similar environment and is a strong communicator in English and German language. Candidates without fluency (written and spoken) in both languages will not be taken into consideration.
Tasks & Responsibilities
Working with the given Tickettool Service Now and company-owned Asset Management Tools
Progressing of Incident and Request Management Tickets according process
Progressing Asset Management Updates according process
Participation at IT Welcome Zone Shifts (5 hours, 2-3 times per week)
Experience with and understanding of other technology domains, methods, etc. and their interactions.
Implementation and coordination of hardware, software, network component installations
Creating and maintaining of knowledge articles, operational manuals, user guides and checklists.
Follow-up on hardware, software, network problems and initiation of the corrective actions and escalation procedures.
Performing short training-/consultancy sessions for up to 20 end users.
Contribution in continuous Improvement processes
Represent Digital Workplace Services in Project Status meetings
Must Haves
5-7 years of experience working in a similar position in a global Matrix organization in a regulated environment
Advanced know how of the Google gSuite and Windows 10 in an Active Directory Environment (Know-how in gSuite will be tested during the interview)
Apple iOS/MAC knowhow, experience with Mobile Device Management
ITIL Foundation (v2 or higher)
Fluent in written and spoken English and German language
Nice to haves
Experience working in an Agile environment
Experience with ServiceNow (Ticketing System)
