Responsibilities:• Develop commissioning plans and schedules in close coordination with all internal and external stakeholders.
• Choreograph all onsite commissioning activities with all relevant stakeholders both internal and external.
• Co-Leadership with Commissioning Manager of Subject Matter Experts from Construction, EPC, and Asset Management through the commissioning process.
• Lead project controls scoping together with EPC and Asset Management teams to ensure progress of commissioning activities.
• Work with EPC to support project close-out, including documentation and transition from construction to daily operations.
• Coordinate all third-party services necessary for commissioning.
• Assist in preparation and issuing of RFQ/RFP packages to EPC contractors and Engineering consultants.
• Expected to be on site as needed at key milestones to help facilitate commissioning activities.
Requirements:
• At least 5 years of electrical commissioning experience. Preferably with MV and HV applications.
• Over 7 years of commissioning experience - preferably working with power generation/power plants/energy projects.
• Fluent in German and English.
• Able to work as a freelancer in Germany.
• Ability to supervise a team of 4 engineers and work hands-on if needed to.
