IFRS 17 Actuary - vacancy for our Zurich based client in the financial sector.Your tasks:
- Managing complex IFRS 17 reporting and closing processes and systems efficiently
- Leading impact assessments, managing stakeholders, and monitoring external and internal developments
- Assessing IFRS 17 implementation, engaging stakeholders, and driving essential lobbying efforts
- Taking responsibility for assigned accounts, overseeing ledger entries, reconciliations, and substantiations
- Ensuring strict adherence to accounting policies, controls, and timely financial activities closure
- Collaborating with IT, Actuarial Valuation, Financial Reporting, and auditors to drive operational efficiency
Your experience/knowledge:
- 5+ years of Actuary experience in Life and Health insurance domains
- Proven troubleshooting skills with direct involvement in intricate processes
- Demonstrated experience in IFRS 17 implementation and results review
- Proficiency in Actuarial systems and familiarity with SAP FPSL is an added advantage
- Completed University degree in a relevant field
- Language skills: English - fluent in written and spoken
