Our Client based in Basel is looking for Helpdesk Agent for 6 months contract.

Position/Title:Helpdesk Support Agent/IT Supporter

Project Description:

Support, troubleshoot, advice and inform Client end users regarding all aspects of the Google migration. Accepting and documenting all kinds of questions and issues in this regards. Solve and trouble shoot issues remotely and/or onsite and/or escalate issues to the responsible 2nd level support groups.

Provides general Information, short trainings, introductions, tips and tricks regarding the Google apps and associated tools to single users or a larger audience of customers.

Works in a professional manner at all times and maintains a consistent image of 1Email1Calender Project team and the IT Basel User Services Organization through professional communication, reliability and high availability. Promotes the values and benefits of the 1E1C project.

Main Tasks:

Accepting all kinds of queries and fault reports from the users.

Recording and classification the required information

Analyzing fault reports and queries, correcting malfunctions (remote or onsite), answering technical questions and triggering workarounds (first level support)

Forwarding fault reports and questions to the second level support, supervising fault repair and keeping the error log

Informing the user in case of errors/faults and instructing them about the correct use of technical and means and applications.

Educates and explains product features and benefits of the Google apps and associated tools (eg WebEx) to a non-technical oriented audience

Provides trainings/instructions to a single user or a larger audience of customers

Creation and maintenance of operating manuals, user guides, check lists and knowledge database articles.

Special Requirements:

Expert in Google and Outlook

Experienced in end user support (remotely and onsite)

Excellent communication and presentation skills

Fluent in English and German, French desired

Flexible working times possible

Can work with high workload and pressure

Eventualy travel to Client Sites wtihin the Western Europe region required
