Hardware Designer Power Electronics (m/f)

Main tasks:
- Creation of specifications for assemblies/partial circuits
- Creation of hardware architecture and concepts (electronics, EMC, GND etc.)
- Creation of test requirements as well as analog and digital circuit development
- Circuit design and simulations as well as selection and definition of components
- Technical clarifications with manufacturers and suppliers
- Collaboration with FMEAs
- Performing design and schema reviews
- Checking the Hardware Layout
- Commissioning and troubleshooting of circuits/assemblies
- Preparation of development documentation incl. measurement reports
Main qualifications
- Successfully completed degree in electrical engineering or physics (university or technical college)
- Profound experience and knowledge in circuit development of power electronic assemblies, ideally in the automotive sector
- High degree of flexibility, ability to work in a team and good communication skills
- Knowledge in electrical simulation of circuits and components with SPICE such as LTSpice
- Knowledge of EMC and electrical safety, ideally also functional safety according to ISO26262
- Knowledge with Altium Designer
- Knowledge of PCB design for EMC conformity
