My Client, a global supplier and industry expert for Flight Data Test Engineer (Air traffic Management) systems is looking for a Test Engineer in Geneva, Switzerland to work with their team on several projects. - Education
- Engineering degree in computer science
- Experience
- 5 years in (Air Traffic Management)ATM, especially in Flight Data Processing or Aerospace domain (MUST)
- 2 to 3 years Java
- 2 to 3 years in Agile team
- 2 to 3 years in Automatic testing development (nice to have)
- Experience in Tools
- Version Control Tools, Integration Tools, Build Tools,
- Kibana, Confluence
- Technical competences and skills
- Knowledge in ATM
- Design of Technical Architecture
- JEE Application Development
- Java with multi-threading
- XML/SOAP
- Awareness on
- experience in TIBCO
- experience in SOA environment
- Jenkins/Maven/Git
JOB DESCRIPTION
- The focus of this assignment is mainly to provide a test environment in the context of the New route handling project/services in the GVA environment.
- The other activities will be testing activities oriented on Legacy systems.
- Main characteristics/scope
- Analyse Requirements and produces tests deliverables in the Flight Data Environment of Geneva.
- Develop an automatic testing infrastructure.
- Major Challenges
- Adapt the current customer test infrastructure for the customer framework
- Create an automatic and sustainable test platform in the flight data area in the context of virtual centre
Tasks
- Being able to understand the current Geneva Business Logic and to migrate them to the customer restructure
- Understand existing functionality of Flight Data pre-processing business,
- Understand existing Technical environment, Systems, Processes, Tools
- Understand Product backlog/project requirements/user stories
- Understand Legacy systems environment and provide test infrastructure for new services
- Make sure that all test activities will be completed in due time (design, coordination and execution of test cases)
- Create reports of the test progress
- Continuous improvement of the test processes
- Continuous evolution of the automatic test infrastructure
- End products/project outcome/Targets and Measures
- Migrate the current Legacy ops to new infrastructure
- Create a complete automatic testing infrastructure.
- Ensure a full testing coverage of the requirements of the projects including non-regression of Legacy systems.
- Ensure non-regression testing of the New Route Handling project/services.
