A leading banking client of mine is seeking an Email Subject Matter Expert for a job opportunity in Zürich, which requires additional Linux or Unix administration skills.
This bank has always been at the forefront of technology advancements and development of banking applications, and they currently need an Email Subject Matter Expert. As the Email Subject Matter Expert in Zürich, you will be work closely with the Email Engineering and Email Collaboration teams and will be responsible for administering the hygiene layer/Servers, operating the Email backbone Internet Mail and Application Mail Gateways, Distributions Systems and Global Directory, implementing policy configuration changes on the Email Servers, as well as automating some of the process as my client deals with close to 20 million emails per day!
This is all on a Unix/Linux platform Some key skills you will need for this job are:
- Multiple years of email administration experience (at least 4 years)
- Strong Linux or Unix administration skills, Solaris is also acceptable
- Good Scripting skills for automation of processes
- Strong knowledge of what a hygiene-layer is and how it works
- Fluent in English
This is for a contract job with an initial duration of 10 months. Ideally you are available immediately.
