Email Engineer SME with profound Sendmail and Linux knowledge wanted for our Zurich based client in the financial sector.
Your experience/skills:
- 4+ years of working experience as Email Engineer
- Expert in Sendmail, in addition to other Message Transfer Agent
- Deep knowledge and practical experience in Linux and DNS, Firewall, as well as OpenLDAP
- Proven track of working in a large size organisation with corporate email infrastructure
- Good knowledge in Secure electronic messaging, Perl or Splunk
- Languages: fluent English both written and spoken, German would be an asset
Your tasks:
- Liaising with the engineering teams (testing in production tests area)
- Designing, implementing and documenting production test cases
- Supporting deployment and migration steps in close collaboration with engineering (software deployment and configuration changes)
- Managing tickets and responsible for the 2nd and 3th level support. Working closely with the internal and external teams
- Consulting mail operations and application owners
