DevOps Engineer vacancy for our Zurich based client in the financial sector.Your experience/skills:
- Hands-on experience in versioning, building and packaging .NET C# solutions for release automation coupled with profound knowledge in Visual Studio, Azure DevOps, MS Build and SDLC
- Practice DevOps build and release engineer including implementing build and release pipelines
- Know-how in integrating Azure DevOps build pipeline with Veracode and SonarQube along with experience in QA tools such as SQL Compare and SQL Data Compare
- Solid knowledge in using scripting languages like YAML and PowerShell
- Languages: fluent English both written and spoken
Your tasks:
- Setting up custom build agents and MS hosted build agents along with troubleshooting and resolving release, build and deployment issues
- Setting up build and release pipelines in Azure DevOps for .NET C# applications for each environment
- Documenting and developing process templates for packaging, build, deployment and releases
- Providing advice on improvements to packaging, build and deployments
- Creating PowerShell scripts and integrating build pipelines with Microsoft AntiMalware Scan, Veracode, SonarQube and SonarCloud
- Implementing standard and best practice source code branching, building, packaging and versioning as part of CI/CD
