Development Engineer - qPCR/ Molecular Diagnostic Systems/multidisciplinary /S1/
Project/Role:
For our partner Roche Diagnostics in Rotkreuz we are searching for a highly qualified Development. The role is a contract position for 12 months (with strong possibility of extension).
Background:
This Position is located in the RMD System Development (SD) Department, responsible for the integration of Software, Hardware, consumables and reagent on Roche Molecular Diagnostic Systems.
As an Engineer I/II in the SI NAP/qPCR team, you will be part of a multi-disciplinary team and work on various technical projects on already launched RMD platforms, aiming at solving issues detected internally or reported from the field.
Main Tasks:
- Planning and execution of work packages within area of responsibility
- Analyzing data, creating relevant documentation (eg study protocols and reports) and presenting results in team meetings
- Taking part to projects related to all Systems Product Care aspects (Software, Hardware, reagents, consumables), on several platforms
- Performing Root Cause Investigation on Systems issues
- Performing feasibility and verification studies according to Change Management processes in place
- Interacting with other relevant stakeholders and functional areas (CIR, GCS, Regulatory, Quality, OPS etc) in order to implement solutions

Must Haves:
At least one year experience in Lab work (biosafety levels S1 and S2) and results analysis skills
- Troubleshooting experience and a "systems thinking" mindset/multidisciplinary
- Able to work on multiple projects at the same time, in small teams and deal with priority changes in a high-paces work environment
Nice to Haves:
Experience in medical technology
GxP Experience
Able to reach out and interact with multiple interfaces and stakeholders (Regulatory, Operations, Quality etc.) to drive changes
Education:
At least an HF degree in Biotechnology, Bio-Engineering or equivalent
Language:
English (B2) very good in written and spoken
German (B1) good in written and spoken
