Developer/Release Manager - Oracle, version control, SVN, CVS, Unix, Informatica PowerCenter, banking
Randstad IT Professionals is currently trying to fill a Developer/Release Manager role for our client, a renowned bank in Zurich, for their global Treasury Data warehouse applications and projects.
The client offers a challenging role coordinating end-to-end testing and release management for the Treasury Data warehouse (TDWH).
MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES
- Create efficient/sustainable processes to handle changes from multiple project teams in different locations within an agile development environment
- Enhance/improve the clients software development processes and test automation framework
- Work closely with the members of our highly capable and agile international team
- Set standards that guide the development teams in the creation of unit test cases
- Gain in-depth banking knowledge in the areas of asset management, risk exposures and liquidity modelling
REQUIRED SKILLS & QUALIFICATION
- Graduate degree in Computer Science, equivalent education or qualifying experience
- Good knowledge of Oracle (queries, partitioning, PL/SQL)
- Experience with unit- and regression-testing frameworks
- Good understanding of version control systems (ideally SVN or CVS)
- Experience working with Unix (including Shell Scripting) is a plus
- Knowledge of Informatica PowerCenter (version 8.6 or higher) is a plus
- Banking experience is a plus
- Proactive and reliable personality suited to working with a team
- Fluency in English (spoken and written)
- German (spoken/written) as a plus
