Role: Database Administrator/Integration Architect
Location: Zurich
Start: Ideally 1st June 2016
Duration: Initial 6-12month contract
Language: English - required, German - not required but would be beneficial
Design and develop databases
Lead and work with other developers and tune database queries
Must have done database work on JDA database.
Backup and recovery databases
Represent database team in cross-functional meetings related to architecture and design and gather requirements
Utilize expert level knowledge on database technology to assist application teams build and deploy applications framework to meet business needs
Work with vendors and customers
Experience with database security and associated configurations (Schema level Roles and Auditing)
Table partitioning optimized to JDA application behavior, tablespace management, index management, physical file compliance & optimization
Must be knowledgeable and experienced in database performance management including experience to address system performance and its dependency to storage and OS
