We are looking for a Customer Engineer in the area of Zurich:General Role Summary:
Guided responsibilities for installing, maintaining and repairing company and multi-vendor
systems which includes hardware, software and networking products as well as operating
systems. Installs and optimizes HW/SW/Networking product and configurations at customer
site. Ensures customer satisfaction by advising customer on preventative maintenance and
configurations which may impact product performance. Takes responsibility for potential or
desired follow-up services (Sales/Systems Engineering) or problem escalation. Supports and
observes installations being performed by experienced field-engineers. Entry level position.
B&F Services:
- Level 2 support is provided to Client users when local intervention is required. This
includes SW support for the SW in scope and HW failure analyses.
- PDA connectivity
- Printer failure analyses
IMAC/D Services:
- DSS for PC, Laptop, Printers, SW installations, new hires setup
Other Services in scope:
- Smart hand services for Servers and Network equipment.
- Backup and restore user data under guidance of service desk
- Coordination of small projects (ie moves and rollouts)
Requirements:
- DSS experience
- Good knowledge of Microsoft Windows XP
- Good knowledge of Microsoft Office 2003
- Basic Network knowhow
- German native Speaker
- Technical English
- Good soft skills
