ClientMy client are a leading developer and manufacturer advanced numerical tools and instrumentation for the accurate evaluation of electromagnetic near- and far-fields from static to optical frequencies.
Job Title: Computational Electromagnetics Engineer
Contract: Permanent
Location: Zurich, Switzerland
Responsibilities:
> Develop new applications and models that show features and capabilities of our CEM software for telecoms industries and others
> Research and observation of market trends and competitor products
> Global customer technical support and communications by email and phone
> Sales/pre-sales and marketing activities in telecoms and other industries
> Presentations and demos during customer visits and seminars/workshops
> Participation in specialised exhibitions, scientific conferences and commercial presentations
> Collect technical feedback from customers and partners on required features and work collaboratively with developers to implement them
> Identify business opportunity ideas
> Support the preparation of all necessary documentation according to the product development process
> Support in the pre- and post-launch activities (e.g. testing, technical and marketing literature, trainings)
Requirements:
> Solid background understanding of electromagnetic
> Preferable knowledge and practical experience in antenna design, microwave and optic devices
> Preferable experience with general CEM simulation software
> Taking on of responsibilities and awareness of top quality
> Friendly personality, good communication skills, and sensitivity to customer needs
> Fluent working knowledge in English (and preferably German)
> Strong team player.
