Compliance Officer - KYC/AML - Geneva
Responsibilities
- Performing monitoring tasks concerning KYC, AML and suitability aspects of transactions
- Conducting quality control and checks on compliance with KYC and documentation requirements for client relationships
- Reviewing cash and non-cash transactions in terms of completeness, adequacy and plausibility of AML comments provided by RMs
- Checking adherence to cross border business requirements
- Performing Compliance risk reviews, for example, with regards to suitability aspects and trading services
- Tracking, reporting and escalating of monitoring/review results to senior management
Essential Requirements
- University degree education or an equal professional education
- Several years of experience in the financial industry with proven knowledge of KYC, AML, and formality (CDB) requirements
- Intimate level of familiarity with front to back processes in Private Banking and with suitability and cross border standards
- Strong analytical skills, high sense of responsibility, self-motivated and convincing personality
- Team player, who is also accustomed to working independently in an international and challenging environment
- Fluent in French and English, other languages are an asset
