For one of our clients, a leading bank located in Zurich, Swisslinx is urgently seeking a ColdFusion Developer.
You will act as single developer/supporter for a large application and some minor smaller applications, all running on ColdFusion. You are used to work on your own, there are no other developers in the team who can assist you and it is therefore required that you are an expert in the technical requirements mentioned below.
Besides developing, maintaining and supporting applications you will also be required to visit large clients to support their IT in preparing their infrastructure in order to install the web application on site. Profound technical know how as well as interpersonal skills are therefore a high priority for this job. You are also an expert in developing using the Fusebox framework.
In order to be considered for this role, you will require the following:
- at least 5 years of professional experience and profound know-how in developing and maintaining web based applications, from front to back. You have developed, rolled out and maintained large web applications
- ColdFusion in conjunction with the Fusebox framework
- MS SQL, Oracle, Sybase, J2EE packaging and distribution
- XML, JavaScript, HTML, Tomcat (and overall server set-up)
- Apache, IIS (and Jakarta Tomcat connector), AJAX
- Object Relational Mapping Framework (eg Hibernate/Transfer)
- IOC - dependency injection frameworks (eg Coldspring)
This is a 6 months contract (50%) to start ASAP.
