Bio SC Operational Buyer vacancy for our Valais based client in the pharmaceutical sector.Your tasks:
- Managing supplier performance to meet Material Requirement Plan (MRP) goals
- Ensuring accurate Procurement Master Data in SAP for effective PO creation
- Supporting category managers and strategic buyers in supply strategy implementation
- Resolving Level 2 vendor escalations and drive improvements in vendor performance
- Leading competitive bid processes and negotiating low-value contracts with suppliers
- Training and supervising junior colleagues, supporting their development in the team
Your experience/knowledge:
- 5+ years of experience in a highly regulated industry, preferably Biotech or Pharmaceutical
- Demonstrated expertise in procurement within manufacturing environments
- Advanced proficiency in SAP MM
- Familiarity with Operational Procurement and Direct Materials Purchasing
- University Degree as well as certification in CPIM or equivalent, and Lean Six Sigma Green Belt training
- Language skills: English - fluent in written and spoken, German of advantage
