Big Data Engineer wanted for our Zurich based client in the banking sector.Your experience/skills:
- Several years' experience in Hadoop development / engineering / programming
- Profound knowledge of Hadoop and related technologies along with expertise in Configuration Management and Python / Java / Scala programming
- Solid background in security concepts related to Hadoop as well as strong UNIX skills
- Strong understanding of data pipeline, data transformation approaches and tools and Hive SQL
- Languages: fluent English both written and spoken
Your tasks:
- Creating and managing the company's Big Data infrastructure and tools
- Monitoring performance and advising necessary infrastructure changes
- Selecting and integrating Big Data tools and frameworks required to provide requested capabilities
