For our client from the insurance industry in the greater Zurich area, we are looking for an experienced and open-minded Azure Data Warehouse Architect.Your tasks and responsibilities:
- You will be accountable for the approvals of the platform implementation by local Design Authority
- You will be responsible for the documentation of the locally deployed platform
- A compliant linkage of the platform to the on-premise Oracle DWH
- Responsible for the setup in synchronization of the DevOps processes, continuous integration and continuous delivery, and of the Run operations on the Platform
Your profile:
- Strong experience on compliance management and security concept design
- Strong experience on Azure implementations, specifically on designing and managing cloud environments, on the Azure services, and integration with external tools such as Git, Active Directory, PowerBI, Intelligent Data Management Cloud (IDMC), etc.
- Experience on cloud-based DWH implementations with Synapse and best practice for related job scheduling and ops.
- Data Vault best practice would be beneficial
- Very good English knowledge is a must, fluent in German would be beneficial
