Application Support Specialist
For our large client based in Zürich I am looking for a Application Support Specialist
Location: Zürich
Start: 04.06.12
Duration: 6 months
Language skills: English Fluent//German a Plus
Banking Knowlege: Desirable
Required Skills:
* Strong knowledge of Oracle (queries, optimization, partitioning, indexing, PL/SQL)
* Sound experience in Unix (ksh, sh, Scripting) and its tools
* Deployment expertise (Subversion, CVS)
* Knowledge of Informatica Powercenter Administration
* Working experience in large DWH environments as a plus
* Job-scheduling knowledge (Control-M, DAC) as a plus
* Reporting skills (APEX, OBIEE) as a plus
* Banking skills are a big plus
* Proactive and reliable personality who works independently
* Ability to think clearly and act correctly when resolving problems with time-critical core banking systems
* Fluency in English (both spoken and written), German as a plus
Scope of Work:
* A challenging position with responsibilities in operating, maintaining and stabilising the complex and growing Treasury DWH within my Clients organisations and its Liquidity and regulatory requirements with close interaction and relation to Treasury Business and its banking products
* The Treasury DWH area is used for assessing risk exposures, liquidity and cash flow modelling for stress tests and scenario analysis, and populates transactions and banking products to the accounting statements on a daily basis
. Being part of FSI, the Financial Systems Initiative, a strategic program for redesigning the Finance application landscape
* Working within a highly capable international team
* The possibility to work with modern, growing technologies like OBIEE and Informatica
