Application Manager - Front Arena
Experis is currently supporting our client, a well-known financial services firm with their HQ in Zurich, for their search for a German-speaking banking application manager. What is it you'll have to do?
My client is looking for an experienced Application manager with markets and securities and FX trading who can commit to their initial 12-month project in Zurich.
- Collaboration in projects for the implementation of requirements
- Support of the application, as well as different market accesses, Calculation Engines and the associated BI reporting tool
- Acceptance and introduction of various changes
- Working in shifts; between 0 or 0 as well availability for on-call
- Development tasks within the framework of system and problem management
- Active exchange with IT stakeholders as well as business and customers
- Defining non-functional or operational requirements in projects
Your specific background:
- You hold either a Swiss or an EU passport
- This role requires German at a fluent level
- Higher technical education/further education in the field of IT
- Knowledge and interest in securities and FX trading
- Strong and communicative personality with experience in operating retail applications
- Good problem analysis skills under time pressure
- Good technical knowledge of operating systems and databases (Windows, SQL, Powershell, Python)
