For a long-term project at our client's site, an international insurance based in Zurich, we are looking for a motivated
Senior Project / Program Manager – Data Analytics
In this role you will have the opportunity to be at the forefront of the digitalization. You are responsible for the solution delivery throughout the entire lifecycle, from demand initiation to transition into stable operations and service management, in coordination with globally distributed teams.
Your Qualifications:
- 8+ years’ experience as a Project / Program Manager with focus on Data and Analytics within the insurance industry
- Experience in project / program management, software engineering and software development
- Good understanding of BI concepts (ETL, Data Mart, Data Warehouse, Data Lake), practical work experience beneficial
- Hands-on experience and knowledge in delivering SAP BI centric solutions (BWR, BW4HANA, SAC,) are desired
- Certification in PMP, Prince2, Scrum master are a plus
- Track record of making complex business decisions in times of ambiguity by considering the potential long-term risks and implications
- Strong communication and presentation skills up to C-Level
- Solid stakeholder management skills in global and complex contexts
- Fluent in English, other languages are beneficial
Your Responsibilities:
- Managing end-to-end solution delivery from idea formulation to handover to Service Management building and maintaining strong relationships with various business partners / project stakeholders
- Understanding customers’ objectives by defining the appropriate engagement model and leading the initial setup, blue prints and developments / implementation plans for future mid/long term IT Solutions
- Leading and directing the project team, possibly geographically dispersed, including external providers
- Ensuring completion of all project management deliverables to required level
- Proactively managing project / program risks, establishing effective controls and driving mitigation actions
- Tracking key project metrics, issues, risks, changes and producing monthly status reports
- Providing full transparency regarding projects execution in terms of budget, timelines, scope and quality status
- Active, hands-on participation, working directly with stakeholders to create initial traction for EDAA’s services and products
- Promoting EDAA as Data & Analytics Delivery and Advisory organization
- Keeping abreast of company and industry trends in data and analytics, as well as data and analytics tools and technologies
- Building and sustaining relationships with key stakeholders from BUs and Group Functions plus with external parties
